Once again...awhile since I last posted. Things are going great. Took a spontaneous trip to oregon...will try to post some pics. Edgar is really growing. we went to the beach with him and bought some beach toys.

Okay it's been a while since I posted anything.......so here goes. I've decide that I have been to hard on pres. Ob ama. after all he hasn't had any experiance in this field. How many times have we applied for a job and have been told,"I'm sorry you don't have enough experiance." So Mr. Obama doesn't have enough experiance. Should we hold that against him? After all he hasn't run a company. Hasn't had to balance budgets and hire and fire people. Hasn't passed any legislation in his 18 months as a Senator.
How many of us have wanted to be hired so we can get experiance? So why not give him the same opportunity?
I mean, whats the big deal? Let him learn while he earns right?
And on top of all of this he is getting criticized. How insensative of people.
Come on give him a break. How was he supposed to know about ACORN scandal?
He is not used to people disagreeing with him.
So I say give him a chance. he doesn't know a thing about running a Country and it is harder than you think.You try pulling the wool over peoples eyes and not getting discovered. It's harder than you think.

Well, had a great fathers day. Had most of the family over for dinner. Barbaqued hamburgers on the new Kenmore grill Vickie gave me. Saw Peter and Tayva's DVD of their sonogram. Then we all watched Ratatoullie. Thanks to all for everything

A CAR RIDE WITH GRANDPA

Grandpa had a ritual he looked forward to every Sunday morning. He would take his 7-year old granddaughter out for a drive in the car for some bonding time - Just he and his little granddaughter.

On one particular Sunday, however, he had a very bad cold and didn't feel like getting out of bed at all. Luckily, his wife came to the rescue and said that she would take their granddaughter out.

Upon their return, the little girl anxiously ran up stairs to see her grandfather.

'Well, did you enjoy your ride with grandma?'

'Oh, yes, Grandpa,' the girl replied, 'and do you know what? We didn't see one dumb ##@@!! or stupid $#!head anywhere we went today!

Well, I've decided to give the old blogspot a try. Here I can talk and talk and talk... and no one can tell me to shut up.
We took a family vacation to Oregon to see our new Grandson. What a good looking guy he is. It was nice to have everyone there. Soon we will have another grandson. WOW how time flies. Grandpa and Grandma Braithwaite came with us.(I fear this might be us in 20 years) Anyway it was good. I got a little cranky on Friday(lost my way in Salem and carried the mood to the next day) Sorry to all. But we all had fun. When I can, I'll try to post pictures. Anyway it is late at night and I need to get to bed so I can go to work tomorrow .
